We are excited to announce this unique Yoga & Pilates Plate Strength Workshops. Little Buddhas Yoga's & Moving Strength's Plate Strength Sequences will be taught along with an introduction to the science and benefits of Whole Body Vibration using Personal Power Plates.

Workshop Details

This workshop combines the Whole Body Vibration Power Plate Orientation with Little Buddhas Yoga's Yoga Plate Strength Sequencing and Moving Strength's one of kind Pilates Plate Strength Sequencing . It will provide an introduction to Whole Body Vibration (WBV) and the science based evidence that has made Power Plates the industry leader in this category. The Power Plates education is inspired by Applied Functional Science (AFS)® powered by Gray Institute®. Little Buddhas Yoga's distinguishing Yoga Flow was designed for movement along with the integration of Moving Strength's specially designed Pilates Plate Strength workout which combines classic Pilates exercises with the scientific elements of WBV. This workshop will provide an overall introduction to WBV and have you moving and flowing learning Yoga poses, flowing, and Pilates excercises. No experience required as this is an all levels workshop taught by Little Buddhas Yoga owner, Mary E. Wright. Modifications will be provided as well as hands-on instruction and assist will occur during the workshop.

Whole Body Vibration is engineered to activate the body's natural reflexive response to vibration. Moving at 25 to 50 times per second, the muscles engage in a consistent and controlled manner, resulting in accelerated training, allowing anyone to reach their fitness goals faster and more efficiently. Utilizing Yoga Poses through movement will improve flexibility, build strength and develop control and endurance in the entire body. Yoga Plate Strength creates the ultimate class for those looking to "step-up" their Yoga Practice for quicker, more efficient results. Class includes warmup, abdominal sequence, Yoga Flow, Balancing Postures, Restorative, and final relaxation. The combination of Yoga Breathing, Movement, Whole Body Vibration, Strengthening, Stretching, & Relaxing creates a one of kind experience!

Pilate Plate Strength

Pilates Plate Strength is Moving Strength's specially designed workout combining classic Pilates exercises with the scientific elements of the Whole Body Vibration. Utilizing Pilates equipment and mat exercises designed by Joseph Pilates to improve flexibility, build strength and develop control and endurance in the entire body, Pilates Plate Strength creates the ultimate workout for those looking to "step-up" their exercise regime for faster, more efficient results; athletes (amateur and professional) who are desiring better sports results and/or may need rehabilitation, and the mature fitness enthusiast looking to stay healthy and prevent the negative effects of aging on their body.
