Vinyasa Yoga creates a deep meditative affect by connecting the movement through breath work. Teachers focus on providing students how to properly get into your pose, cues and physical assist for proper body alignment while in your pose, and awareness exiting your pose; all the while ensuring proper Pranayama. Once the student has mastered the ability to move mindfully, the practice builds upon itself both physically, mentally, and spiritually allowing each student to move at their own pace. Buddhas Power Flow
Buddhas Power Flow is a high energy Yoga practice. This Upbeat Yoga Class will create a deep meditative affect by through a continued flow. Linking the body's movement with the breath allows for a continuous flow between each posture producing a faster paced yoga practice. This vigorous cardiovascular workout can enhance your energy and increase productivity in all areas of your life. This moving meditation builds strength and flexibility and can reveal all concepts of impermanence allowing one to let go and completely be present.
You will learn the foundational principles of basing, flying, and spotting. AcroYoga is a partner based yoga and acrobatic pratice. Naturally with acroyoga, the class will also address the themes of trust, support, communication, and team work. Students will develop new skills in their body, and new perspectives in their mind. All ages welcome. No partner necessary. Acro Yoga is a perfect practice and time for the entire family as our class is open for adults, children and teens of all ages! Buddhas Basics Yoga
Buddhas Basics is a Back to Basics Yoga class for any level yogi, beginner or advanced practitioner. The instructor will lead you through a series of Asanas (postures) focusing on breath work throughout the practice. Come experience a fresh new outlook for your practice. This class is also ideal for the beginner to come learn about Yoga, your body & how we move with your breath creating a complete mind-body connection.
Hatha Yoga is a pathway creating balance and unifying opposites. Hatha translates into ha meaning "sun" and tha meaning "moon." Balancing our own masculinity (active, hot, sun) and our femininity (receptive, cool, moon.) This practice will lead you through asana (postures) and pranayama (breathwork) while guiding you to find your spiritual path through your physical practice.
Slow/Gentle Yoga is a slow and relaxing paced yoga practice focusing on classic postures, proper body alignment, mindful breathing and meditation. It can be challenging to all levels of practitioners as moving slowly and mindfully through a sequence and/or holding poses for an extended period of time can reveal personal limitations we create in our minds and bodies. Ultimately, learning to allow the breath to take you past yours limitations and creating the possibilities for something different mentally, physically, and spiritually can be achieved in a Slow/Gently Yoga practice.
Restoring Buddhas is our version of a Restorative Yoga Practice and is a slow mindful practice holding poses longer in between mindful movement allowing for the body to open up physically and letting the muscles to completely relax which enhances flexibility. Props such as bolsters, blocks, blankets and straps are used extensively to support the body. This less active, passive yoga practice promotes deep, even and mindful breathing, promoting relaxation while calming and healing the body through embracing the present moment to induce your consciousness to reach and find inner peace.
Yin Yoga is a unique yoga practice in that poses are held for an extended period of time allowing the body to relax completely allowing for a deeper release to occur within the fascia. A deep meditative experience can occur through this passive Yoga practice which leads to an amazing ability to soften the mind, body, and spirit. Yin Yoga can enhance your meditative practice allowing prolonged sitting in meditation and will complement any yang (dynamic more active) type of Yoga practice.
Kundalini Yoga a unique and deeply spiritual practice. It derives its name through a focus on awakening kundalini energy or primal energy which is located at the base of the spine. Combining the practice of Mantra, Tantra, Yantra, Yoga and Meditation during this class allows for space for raising your vibration though this physical practice. A unique Beach Yoga Class offered on the beach under the open sky (family friendly). Slow and relaxing paced yoga practice focusing on classic postures, proper body alignment, mindful breathing and meditation. This Beach Yoga practice can present itself challenging to all levels of practitioners as moving slowly and mindfully through a sequence and/or holding poses for an extended period of time can reveal personal limitations we create in our minds and bodies. Ultimately, learning to allow the breath to take you past yours limitations and creating the possibilities for something different mentally, physically, and spiritually can be achieved. Prenatal Yoga provides stretching and mindful breathing for pregnant women building stamina and strength for labor and delivery. Pre-Postnatal Yoga class is taught by our Certified Healthy Moms® instructors, this one-of-a-kind class helps moms build their core strength, restore muscle tone and lose that baby weight after delivery, and prepares moms-to-be for the physiological changes that occur during pregnancy and for labor and delivery. Postnatal moms enjoy the workout while returning quicker to their pre-pregnancy weight. Our Pre-Postnatal Yoga class offers an opportunity to bond with fellow moms and expectant moms while building strength and endurance through yoga postures and breathing.
A Family Yoga Practice is a unique style bringing parents and children together. Family Yoga is designed for children of all ages to practice with their parents or caregivers. Sequences are taught in a Vinyasa flow style, acro yoga & partner yoga is introduced in class, as well as concentrated focus on breathing while learning various breathing techniques.
